this day began with only 3 hours of sleep and a tiny trip. i am tired, but i'm happy i picked up 2 pretty things i have been waiting for and i did a little shopping. these past months, i would dare to say, have been so hectic, so up and down that i still can't believe last year of uni is already here, summer is gone and i already feel the chills of the cold wind wandering through my ribs and i have 2 dissertation projects to make and finding a job is still hanging on my back.

Paris smells like coffee at every step. like perfume. almost everywhere. like history. at each street corner. like green, trees, flowers. like sad people every now and then and bohemian people on its chic streets. like loneliness the way that only cosmopolitan cities can smell. like white, yummy and warm baguettes. like chocolate. like music. like tourists. every single day of the year. like cheese and champagne. like Seine. like luxury. like humble people that come here to change their lives. from other less fortunate places. and if you get to Paris, you never want to leave again.
