no no, you are not being ridiculous! I agree with you, that song has something that makes me feel powerful even if I'm just doing something super normal like drawing or such.

Hi! Thank you for all your comments :) And it sounds like I am just saying that, but really, thank you. It's funny that you said I was a lucky girl, (from a post from my summer in Paris) because recently I attended a dinner party and met a bunch of people that make traveling to Europe sound like the easiest thing in the world. This is a revelation to me, because traveling to Europe has been a gigantic financial risk for me personally, but it was my dream and I had to do it no matter the consequences. But now, I have felt horribly unlucky, because once you travel once you are bitten by that unrelenting wanderlust and it never goes away. It breaks my heart that I can't just drop everything in life and move to Paris, where my mind almost always ends up anyway. BUT, your comments have helped me see today, that although I know many people that will get to travel and do much more than me, there are even more people that never get to travel and see the world and grow from this AT ALL. So yes, I am actually very lucky! Thank you so much for reminding me of this today. :)

And yes, I'm sure rent is quite expensive in Paris. :( My apartment's rent was included with my tuition for study abroad, so I'm afraid I couldn't tell you how much it cost exactly...
I look forward to reading your posts :) I think we are kindred spirits. Maybe someday we both run off to Paris someday haha, it's fun to think about, at least. :)

Have a pleasant day!
xx
